PANEL DISCUSSION - ABOUT THE SPEAKERS
(Moderated by Mark Ballard)
Susan Green
Susan’s been part of the Landrunners family since 2014 and has over two decades of running under her belt. She’s the magic behind our OKC Marathon cheer station, helping runners feel seen and supported on race day. From snapping pics at training runs to helping setup fun spaces at our social events, Susan shows up in big ways. She’s a reminder that race day energy isn’t just about runners—it’s about the people who lift us up.
Dr. Jackie Mania
Jackie’s been racing since high school and recently crushed her first marathon—qualifying for Boston twice in one year! She’s also a coach, a mom, and a big believer in helping runners find their confidence and joy in the process. Whether you’re tapering, racing, or cheering someone on, Jackie brings great tips, energy, and perspective to help make race week feel a little less intimidating and a lot more fun.
Kyle McKinley
Kyle’s been running since 7th grade and turned that early passion into a life of racing, coaching, and helping others find their stride. He’s a marathon winner, a former college coach, and now manages OK Runner in OKC. Kyle knows the ups and downs of race week and brings a practical, encouraging approach to tapering, mindset, and showing up for others—whether you're chasing a PR or cheering from the sidelines.
Heath Boren
Heath avoided running for most of his life—until 2022, when something clicked. Since then, he’s tackled marathons, ultras, and even a 53-mile run connecting three Red Coyote stores. Known for his bright yellow “RUN FAR DON’T DIE” hat and bigger-than-life adventures, Heath brings humor, grit, and a gentle reminder that we’re all capable of more than we think—especially when we’ve got a supportive community to cheer us on.
