Landrunners' OKC Memorial Marathon training. As always, our training is FREE and we welcome new and veteran runners and walkers alike. Invite your friends!

Location: 
Bar K, 901 SE 5th St Oklahoma City, OK 73129 - Bathrooms and an indoor warm up area for those that like to do some warm-up running drills or stretching will be open by 7:10am. The restaurant will be open by 9am for post run food and drinks. Stay after the run for $2 off a menu brunch item!

Course: We will head east on the North River / Greenway Trail connecting to the Katy Trail at NE 4th St. 8 milers will turn around 1 mile past the water stop which will be on the Katy Trail before the NE 10th St Bridge.  Those running 16 will continue north on the Katy Trail to the OKC Zoo then return on the same route back to Bar K for 16 miles. This route is mostly trails with only a few street crossings, be careful at the MLK/Eastern crossing as the pedestrian light is still not working.  We will be sharing the trail with cyclist - run on the right so they can pass on your left.

Wave Start - We anticipate utilizing a wave start to spread out the group so please line up according to your expected pace and wait until your pace is called to begin running.

Water Stops - 2 water stops which you pass twice on the course @ miles 3, 6.3, 9.8 & 13. Those running 8 water stop @ mile 3 & 5.  Bathrooms @ Lincoln Park Clubhouse, just inside the doors that face south to the parking lot.   If you need water more often please carry a bottle.  

Running Etiquette - Remember that we are sharing the road and the trails with others. We want them to be courteous to us, so we, in turn need to be courteous and respectful and not "hog" the road or the trails. Obey all traffic signs, use the cross walks and sidewalks when available. As always training is FREE and open to all walkers and runners. You do not need to be a member to attend but we can always use the support, membership is only $20 per year.
