Congratulations OKC Memorial Marathon
Runners,
Can you believe we had such
great weather for the marathon? It was in the 40s and the wind was out of the
North. The wind really helped to push everyone back to the finish line.
We thank
The Runner

providing the water stops - and Dr. Tom Coniglione
- for
your advice and assistance to those of us with aches and pains. Also, a big
Thank You to those who brought snacks over the past 16 weeks.
Thank you to Katie and Shawn for organizing the Friday night pasta dinner at
Nancy's
Lighthouse. The buffet was great... If you missed it, you also missed Katie
and Shawn's singing.
We took many pictures on the
training runs, at the dinner and at the finish line. They are posted on the OKC Running Club web site.
Again, congratulations and remember as the Rectors say, "Every day is a holiday if
you are a runner."
