About this Event:
This is a Series Race Event.  The series scoring will be as follows: Beacon 25K will be scored by itself while Beacon 15K and 5k will be combined as per series races rule 13, last bullet scoring.

This event is directed by the Oklahoma City Running Club and is the second race in the 2013 Triple Crown. The Oklahoma State Championship 25 km Run is open to all participants of any ability. The 5K, 15K & 25K events are  part of the Oklahoma City Running Club’s Race Series. This is a great training opportunity for those planning to participate in the Memorial Marathon or Half Marathon.

Mail entries must be postmarked by 2/22/2013.

Online Registration closes on Thursday February 28th, but you can still register at Packet PU on Friday or Race Day (race day entry fee is $5 more and no member's discount).

Race day fee: $30 for 5K and $40 for the 15K or 25K

2013 Triple Crown - 2/9 Frigid Five, 3/2 Panera Beacon 5K, 15K or 25K & 3/16 St Paddy's Day 8K - Save money and enter all three races for only $65. $80 after 2/8/2012.

Start Times:
15K* & 25K* races start @  8:00am (CST), start time has been moved up this year so no early starts. Finish Line closes at 12:00pm.

5K* starts @ 8:30am (CST)
*Series Races

Courses: 25K, 15K & 5K races will take place on USATF certified courses that are primarily on the trails that border Lake Hefner.  The 15K will follow the 25K course and will turn around at the 7.5K mark.  All Courses are out and back.

Chip Timing
Results will be provided by DG Road Racing using a Chip Timing System.

Awards
There will be special awards for the overall male and female for the 5k, 15k and the 25k. Male & Female age group awards will go three deep: 10 & under, 11-12, 13-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 and over.

Packet Pickup
Packet pickup will be Friday, March 1st, from 3-7 PM at Panera Bread, on Northwest Highway across from Integris Hospital. Packets may also be picked up at the race site Saturday morning from 7-8:00am

For all entries registering before February 16th.

Special Accommodations
If you have a disability for which you need to request an accommodation please refer to the policies and guidelines at  www.usatf.org and follow all applicable requirements to obtain consideration. It generally takes six weeks from the receipt of all relevant documentation to evaluate such requests.

Aid Stations
The 15 km & 25 km Run will have aid stations approximately every 2.2 miles with fluids and various fuels.

Port-a-potties
There will be ample facilities near the start/finish area and by the aid stations. (4K, 7.5K, 11K)

USAT&F
The 25 km Run is the Oklahoma USAT&F State Championship. Races are sanctioned by USAT&F and are held on certified courses.
