Swaziland Partnership
The Swaziland Partnership is a cooperative effort between the Swaziland Church of the Nazarene, Swaziland Nazarene Health Institutions, NCM Africa, Nazarene Compassionate Ministries, Inc., Bethany First Church of the Nazarene, and Southern Nazarene University. Our goal is to reduce the incidence of HIV/AIDS in Swaziland through the development of key spiritual, compassionate and educational resources.

Location Information
The start and finish are on the campus of Southern Nazarene University (NW 39th St. Expressway and College). There will also be a 1 mile Fun Run/Walk looping around the block and indoor walk at the Sawyer Center (SNU Gym) on the walking track for those who may need to walk inside. Race will be held rain or shine. No refunds.
About This Event - Register
Join us for our 3rd Annual Swazi 5k in Bethany, Oklahoma. Pre-registration for the 5k is $20 and $25 the day of the race. Pre-registration for the one mile walks is $15 and $20 the day of the race. Price includes a t-shirt and goody bag. The 5k is a USATF sanctioned race. The proceeds from this run will be used for volunteer scholarships, through Bethany First Church of the Nazarene and the HIV/AIDS task force in Swaziland. The task force funds will help provide food, medicine and care for those with AIDS. All but $5 of your registration fee may count as a charitable tax deduction. A tent with medical personnel will be on-site. Water, sports drinks, and refreshments will be available.
Expo
There will be an Expo with music, sponsor tables, vendors, drawings, etc., all morning, so runners/walkers come early to enjoy the atmosphere!
Packet Pick-up
Race packets will be available Thursday, Sept. 15 from 4-7 PM and Friday, Sept. 16 from 4-6 PM at Bethany First Church of the Nazarene Room 121 (enter through the north doors), 6789 NW 39th Street Expressway.
The Course
This is a USATF sanctioned event and certified course (OK-09054-DG) that starts and finishes on the campus of Southern Nazarene University and loops through the neighborhoods in Bethany.
Timing and Awards
Fast, accurate times will be provided by DG Productions using ChampionChip timing systems. All runners in the 5 km will need to wear a timing chip on their shoe or around their ankle. Awards will be given out to the top 3 deep in the standard 5-year age groups along with the top overall male and female winner immediately after the race. Age group classifications are 12 & under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and over.
Race Day Schedule
6:15am-Pre-race Packet Pick-up. 7:30am-Indoor Walk (SNU Sawyer Center. 7:30am-1 Mile Fun Run/Walk. 8:00am-5k Run/Walk. Awards and Door Prizes immediately after the 5k. Expo and Entertainment all morning.
Parking
Parking is on the west side of Bethany First Church of the Nazarene at NW 39th St Expressway and Mueller.
