The Race Series is a friendly competition of selected races primarily in the Oklahoma City metro area, where members compete and volunteer in the races in a calendar year earning points and standing among their peers within their age groups.

Please read the Series Race Rules

To contend in the Race Series, you must be a member of the Oklahoma City Running Club and sign up for the 2013 Race Series.

for each individual event.

OK River Run & Dog Jog (Mon, May 27, 2013)

A New Leash on Life, Inc. is an Oklahoma-based organization that changes people’s lives by developing the special abilities of Service Dogs, Therapy Dogs and rescued pets. Each year we host a sanctioned 5k run and a 3k dog jog to help financially support our organization.

8 am - 5K Sanctioned Run (River Run)
USATF Certified and sanctioned (no dogs allowed)

9 am - 3K Dog Jog For runners or walkers with or without dogs. All dogs must be leashed and have current rabies vaccinations.

Children 12 and under with a registered adult may participate free in the Dog Jog.

Registration Fee includes T-shirt and doggie bandanas while supplies last.

Limbs for Life Blaze 5K (Sat, June 01, 2013)

Proceeds from the Limbs for Life BLAZE 5k will help provide prosthetic for amputees who cannot afford them on their own. Limbs for Life is also partnering with the Oklahoma City VA for their annual “Welcome Home” celebration for the troops who have served overseas as part of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Downtown Dash (Sat, June 01, 2013)

The 5^th annual Downtown Dash sponsored by St. Anthony Hospital. This exciting night 5k race through the streets of Downtown OKC.

The race is sanctioned by USTAF and net proceeds from the event go to the Downtown OKC Initiatives, which supports revitalization and beautification projects in the greater downtown area.

Celebrate National Running day with a fun run!

The Landrunners will be hosting a cookout on June 5 at 6pm at the OKC River Trails. There is plenty of parking at the Boathouse District - 725 S. Lincoln. Meet under the Lincoln Street Bridge between the Devon and Chesapeake boathouse More information will be posted soon.

There will also be multiple running events around OKC.

Attend an event or run on your own, just get out and run!

Held at Bluff Creek in Oklahoma City, OK.

Whether you want to pound the pavement or do it in the dirt, this event is for you. Athletes will have their choice of a 24, 12 or 6-hour race on either a relatively flat asphalt trail or on a slightly technical trail equipped with dirt, rocks, roots, tree branches and depending on the weather, maybe a little mud. Both trails will be measured and that distance will be multiplied by the total number of laps a runner completes to give total mileage. Exact mileage will be posted at a later date, but it will be real near one mile.

We will also offer a competitive Live United 1-hour run on the asphalt and a 1-hour fun run on the off-road trail.
